Companies do source nowadays 60% or even more of their turnover from their suppliers. On top of this they are keen to get the best value for their money in terms of quality, time, as well as innovation. However things don’t fall from heaven: Purchasing professionals need a comprehensive understanding and broad skill set in the area of supplier management. It is about to select the “right” suppliers, to “onboard” them properly, to manage their performance in daily business and to launch – at least with the strategic suppliers – supplier development initiatives. At the end of this course attendees will have learned the following
