COURSE OUTLINE

Contracting and contract management is a crucial competence for professionals in purchasing and supply. Even they are not supposed to be the experts such as the lawyers or the people from the internal legal department a purchasing professional should have at least a basic understanding and knowledge – knowledge in terms of facts but especially in terms of impact and consequences. Quite often it is the misapplication of a little knowledge which is dangerous and not the knowledge itself. At the end of this course attendees will have learned the following
  • How and what exactly leads to an contractual agreement
  • How to use what type of contract for which case and situation
  • How to execute contracts properly – in general and in China
  • How can be international standards leveraged for the business in China – and what has to be considered
