In nowadays world many companies spend 70% or even more of their turnover with their suppliers. In order to manage the supply base in an effective and in an efficient manner one has to be aware of the fundamental things such as the relationships, the power position of each party, the tools and techniques and the overall scope of supplier management in companies.
